For Pekin Chamber Business Showcase event rescheduling questions contact: Renna Hadsall, 309-346-2106 For Pekin Kids' Festival event rescheduling questions contact: Carl Bunker, 309-693-9667x11Due to the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus and in the interest of the safety and well-being of our community, the Pekin Kids' Festival ∓ the Pekin Chamber Business Showcase produced in partnership with R&B Productions, Inc., Pekin Chamber of Commerce and title sponsor ICPR Family Practice, has been postponed. We were faced with this difficult decision but feel it is in the best interest of everyone involved.
Pekin Chamber of Commerce representative Renna Hadsall States "The Pekin Kids' Festival has provided an ideal platform for our Business Showcase for the past five years. We feel due to the coronavirus and to ensure the safety of the public and our businesses involved, the best decision would be to postpone this event".
ICPR Family Practice representative Jen Herchenbach states "There is nothing more important to us at ICPR than the health and safety of our community, staff and families that would be attending our event".
R&B Productions, Inc. representative Carl Bunker States "We realize the unfolding coronavirus crisis has significantly affected the event industry. We are fortunate to be working with the management at the Avanti's Dome and they have made available a new date in October in which we can reschedule the Pekin Kids' Festival & the Pekin Chamber Business Showcase".
Save the date on your calendars for the Pekin Kids' Festival & the Pekin Chamber Business Showcase new fall date: Sunday, October 11, 2020 once again being held at the Avanti's Dome in Pekin. Communications and rescheduling with our sponsors and exhibitors will be taking place in the next few weeks offering refunds or re-contracting for the new date in October.
On behalf of our sponsors, exhibitors and media vendors we look forward do a brand-new fall event in which the public safety of all those involved will be observed ensuring a wonderful family event.
